Doosan Robotics, the world’s leading manufacturer of collaborative robots, announced in Seoul on April 17, 2023, the launch of E-SERIES, the NSF-certified line of collaborative robots created specifically for thefood and beverage (F&B)industry.
Named for its technological “edge,” E-SERIES has the flexibility to handle virtually any food and beverage while offering extremely competitive prices and the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Doosan Robotics’ E-SERIES recently received National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certification for food hygiene safety due to features such as sealed spaces between the cobot’s connecting axes. Reducing weight and adopting a slim design, E-SERIES is easy to install and fits perfectly into work spaces. The 5 kg payload and 900 mm reach provide ample capacity to handle any food task with ease.
Doosan Robotics E-SERIES has been tested for a variety of applications, including implementation at Robert Chicken, a Korean fried chicken concept operated exclusively by cobots. E-SERIES has also been tested and used to prepare coffee and other beverages through Doosan Robotic’s Dr. Presso application. Doosan Robotics plans to continue customizing E-SERIES for other uses in the F&B industry, such as baking, barbecue, and specialized functions within the QSR category.
With the launch of E-SERIES, Doosan Robotics introduces 13 new cobots, the largest line in the global cobot market with a wide range of product options including the M-, A-, and H-series, tailored to customers’ process performance and industrial needs.
“Our E SERIES cobots were created specifically to help transform the food and beverage industry by providing immediate solutions to labor shortages and improving labor efficiency. Building on this momentum, we will continue to lead the global cobot industry,” said William (Junghoon) Ryu, CEO of Doosan Robotics.
